It is with deep sorrow that the Muslim Institute learned, on 7 January 2017, of the untimely death of Dr Najah Kadhim Al-Radhi, the secretary of International Forum for Islamic Dialogue (IFID), and much-loved Muslim Institute Fellow.
Since 2000, he served IFID as an executive director, editor in chief of IFID’s publications and chairman of IFID’s board. He launched a youth educational course on Muslim Civic Participation and supported a MENA regional youth program, Success 21 Network. Through his books and lectures, he served thousands of youths throughout the world. Many institutions in Arab countries have benefited from his services and contributions.
All at the Muslim Institute join the IFID family and members of Success21 Network in expressing their sincere condolences to his family, loved ones, friends and esteemed colleagues.
He was lively, generous, and most committed to reforming and modernising Arab and Muslim societies. His contribution to Muslim Institute events and activities are invaluable.
