The Muslim Institute team has been finalising an excellent programme for this year’s Winter Gathering taking place from 2-4 December, which as usual will be held at Sarum College in Salisbury.
This year’s theme is ‘The Meaning of Life’. We are thrilled with the line-up of speakers, including pluralist and renowned scholar of Islam Bruce Lawrence, noted political scientist and champion of multiculturalism Lord Bhikhu Parekh, academic and expert on Muslim representation Amina Yaqin, Sunday Times columnist Bryan Appleyard, Pakistan expert and Muslim Institute Fellow Iftikhar Malik, comedian Shaista Aziz. We urge you to book your place now as numbers are restricted and places are filling up fast.
The event is free for Fellows - inclusive of accommodation and all meals.
Non-Fellows will incur a booking fee of £25. What better reason could there be to complete your Fellow application in good time, forms will be sent on request. This booking fee will cover accommodation and all meals.
As with last year’s gathering spouses are welcome to attend. We have a range of single and double accommodation available, but places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
Please note that we reserve the right to charge a fee for late cancellations
See you there! Meanwhile here is the full programme.
