'Burka-gate’. ‘Prevent’. Muslims as ‘suspect communities’. ‘Muslim bans’. ‘Muslim foster carers fake news scandal’. ‘Creeping Sharia’. ‘Britain’s enemy within’. ‘Britain goes halal’.

And yet ‘Islamophobia’ remains difficult for policy makers to define. Join Les Back, Tariq Modood MBE, Azeezat Johnson, Omar Khan, Naaz Rashid, Akeela Ahmed MBE, Miqdad Versi, Lewisham Islamic Centre and Fauzia Ahmad as they mark the 20th anniversary of the Runnymede Trust’s Islamophobia Report to discuss whether Islamophobia has "passed the dinner-table test" and become normalised in British society?

There is no booking required, this is a free event.
