Join our special guests for a dialogue examining gender and sexuality in relation to Islam. Panelists Leyla Jagiella and Samia Rahman discuss the diversity of gender and sexual identity from Muslim perspectives.

Leyla Jagiella is a German academic and trans woman whose work focuses on Queer Islam. Samia Rahman is an ally to the LGBT community and Deputy Director of the Muslim Institute, a charity that supports the 'growth of thought, knowledge, research, creativity and open debate within the Muslim community and the society at large'.

We would like to invite people to suggest possible topics for discussion by posting on our event page on Facebook, and there will also be an audience Q&A session to close the event, so bring along your ideas and suggestions!

Event curated by Tawseef Khan.
